    I was being hopeful thinking I could just take apart my engine and reassemble without any issue since its “A brand new rebuild by a guy who knew what he was doing”  🙄  Well it turns out my case has been line bored and it didn’t have the right bearings. We have a pallet going Painters next week so I’m going send all my parts so I can have a Painters engine too

    Im glad I found this 11 car and have already wasted many hours on research too. Im more excited about this project than most the rest. Going to Baja is going to be a blast! I may never come back

    Kevin, I took the canopy frame out for the franzifications to be made, and then took it upon myself to have a look at you oil leak. It looked like most of it was coming from the Empi upright oil fill/ air breather seals and hoses. I’ve never seen one of those that didnt leak. Oil was EVERYWHERE! I pulled the engine out and removed all the tin, gave it a simple green bath and have it ready to torque heads and stack back up tomorrow

    I made a deal with Rusty for this turd over the weekend, and I just bought a dual port 1600 to put in it. I hope he he hurries up on the delivery! Im already looking at some centerline wheels to put on it

    Yep this bus drove great! Thanks Unk for letting us use it. I’m betting there will be a few good shots of it in a future hot vw’s. It’s a little under powered and should have got a 1776 but you’ll still have lots of slow fun in this rig

    It’s State Championship Final weekend for us Colorado BMX’ers! I’m nervous as fuuuucccckkkk! I feel pretty confident that my son Jonah will rock this shit and win the #1 again, but as for myself I’m only hopeful to finsh the race. Winning the #1 last year was a total fluke but we’ll see…
