Daily has had an erratic idle for quite some time now. Figured it was the cracked intake boots. 

Inside of boot was still good???

The intake manifold ends are epoxied in place. 

Pass side had let loose.

Franz mentioned there may be a better intake in the trailer. CHROME!!! And it has heat risers!

Had to wiggle the fan shroud up to get the new intake in place. 

Riley tore down and cleaned the carb up, removed all the PITA bolts, and helped out a ton! Thanks Bud!!

Two wheels needed just a bit of bodywork. Few coats of high build and a little sanding and we’re good to go. 

Just finished epoxy sealing wheels. Center color up next.

We’ll need to address the missing drivers front brake line mount.

JJ pointed out we were only 6 bolts away from having the beam removed. We decided it could use a through cleaning.

Franz is scraping the years of grime off.

Replaced the broken hubcap clips. Straightening bent edges before sanding for paint.

Finished blasting wheels. Only 2 broken hubcap clips to fix.  All 5 are 4/56 date code!

I was able to get the majority of your parts blasted before running out of sand yesterday. 

3 1/4 more wheels to go. 

Fabed caps for the torsion bars to cover holes drilled for removal. 

Hung and masked parts this morning. Epoxy sealed. Shiny black paint coming up.
