The ol’ google search for an AS41 led me to Olsen’s. Put my name on a list, no call back after a week. Checked yesterday, still avail, price had gone up a good bit. Damn supply chain problems.
Not much physical progress yesterday. Figured out a bunch of what I want to do going forward for the front shock mounts and engine cage.

Drilled holes for the rear bars. Tossed the mock-up engine in and bolted on a exhaust.

Thanks for the photos Chad…I started thinking about the headliner today.
Metal tabs and brackets for the headliner, torn down, straightened and back in place.
I believe tent mounts are the last item that need installed to finish off everything on the roof before the headliner.
Body color on these?

Managed to throw some hours at this over the weekend.
Knocked out seat and seatbelt mounts on the driver sides. About 6” of adjustability for the drivers seat.
Added some plating on both sides of the tunnel for cross braces which will also be used for the seatbelt crotch strap mounts.
Started on the pass side mounts.
Closed in the pass front fender well area I shouldn’t have cut out in the first place…doh!

Several of the vinyl hold down trim screw holes were wallowed out. JJ suggested a small backing plate for the screws to grab.
Fabled a strip with notches for a clean break. Worked great.
Hold down strips all secured. Vinyl trimmed all around.
Used a taped up razor blade as a guide for a nice straight even trim, backed with a flexible ruler to protect the paint below.

No cab interior panels for 2-3 months from Clara. She is healing from an injury. The Westy tent mounts were in the bus somewhere right?

Started fitting vinyl to the bus on Thursday. Worked the long side first.
Fit the ends on Friday. Just about ready for final install of the hold down trim.
I wince a little every time I trim a bit off. No going back…😁
