in reply to: Tabeguache Trailblazers #24894
I have to cut ďown some bushes this morning. Then I may be able to go for a run.
in reply to: JJ's projects #22998I ran the Tabeguache trail from hi way 141 to the bangs canyon last Saturday. What fun. Going to do the dirt drags this Saturday at the gocart track.

in reply to: Tabeguache Trailblazers #14988Out in Clifton, a watercooled Guy had it. Has a good pan, 1500 single port. Aluminum gas tank, tow bar, plastic race seats with harnesses. Another 1600 dual port that got water down the stinger.

in reply to: Colorado Roadtrips!!! #13624Cottonwood #4, that’s a good fishing spot. Drove my bus there when it was lowered. Or how about the soap creek arm of Blue Mesa Reservoir. There is a good camp spot there and a small boat launch.
in reply to: Our Trip of a Lifetime to KCW… #12887On my first road trip with the KCW crew. We went to Busses at the Brewery in Colorado Springs. I reamed out the spilnes on the driversside hub. A friend of JJ’s (Mark) had another hub that he put on my car. It had lug studs on it that ended up catching on a part of my parking brake when I pulled it while still moving. Anyhow, I ended up with no brakes at all. We made another quick roadside repair then headed on. JJ said if I had another problem and the brakes went out that I could just run into the back of his bus to stop. Nice guy to offer up the back of his bus to help stop my car. He was driving Grandfather at the time.
in reply to: 2018 Moab car show #12166That was a great weekend adventure in Moab. Glad my bus was kind to Mark and Jo, didn’t give them any trouble. KCW does a good job of maintaining it. I’m sure they had fun hanging out with all us crazy Americans. Lots of great pictures and memories.
in reply to: 2018 Moab car show #11942Some of the bike shops in Moab have pay showers that you can use. Can’t wait to get there. About tempted to jump in the bus now and go sleep somewhere along the river. But I’ll wait and drive with the group tomorrow.
