in reply to: all things JJJ’s #52817I can take them off gently if you’d like them for the 52 franz?? Lol
Im planning on a 3” beam, detailed wide five wheels, shave the truxarossa kit out back and repair vents, retain the interior as it’s super nice but oldschool, it should be a awesome bus. I don’t wanna totally change the bus it has a awesome feel and look.
in reply to: all things JJJ’s #52795Just scored this time capsule from a friend of mine, it’s a local bus that was built in Alberta in the mid 90s, it’s a rad bus and so nice and solid for what people (me included) buy to restore and fix up these days.
I got plans for it but may drive it as is for a while. It’s got all the typical oldschool bus suspension and a 1776 with 36 dells, should drive just fine! Nice of josh to come break it in, thanks buddy!

My buddy also dropped me off a new bike rack it’s pretty cool lolin reply to: all things JJJ’s #52191
Also rebuilt all the lock sets, and have spent a ton of hours cleaning it out, found some papers dating 1981, I’d assume that’s the last time it was in the road, I’m hoping to have it ready for Shasta next year. I have been chatting to Cole about it and he’s been nothing but helpful, great tips and ideas, His number one tip was don’t try keep up with Jones…..lolol

Shasta has long been on my bucket list and what better time to build a bus for it than when the border is closed…I bought this bus a while back in a package deal, brought it home and I been picking away at it. Started running threw all the mechanicals and stuff, this weekend had a chance to pull the tank and clean it and install new screen and spigot. Got the shifter stuff all out and repaired, swapped nose cone and resealed it, ready to put down on the ground with a fresh set of crows feet and k02s I had mounted up this weekend. It’s a piece of shit but I’m realizing sometimes maybe these are better suited for me.
in reply to: Buddy’s 66 13 Window #51742Possibly a driver this week????
I’ll be tuned in lol
in reply to: Buddy’s 66 13 Window #51701here is the bus, very iconic in our area and the PNW, kinda the first badass lowered bus that I ever remember
in reply to: Buddy’s 66 13 Window #51697Love narrowed torsion, old school lowering, so clean and simple when done, my buddy did that in 1998 along with a narrowed bus beam, I always idolized him for it, he still has the bus. It’s pretty much exact same except it has a Subaru motor in it so we decided to not talk anymore….
lol I’ll dig up a pic of us back then
