    Dang, Dot3

I would crank it down tighter to seat it……maybe you already tried that.

Got some custom fram oil filter decals, and you know I’m going to paint the housing some good color. 🤪

Brakes fully assembled, adjusted and bleed. Heater control and new cable installed. Pedals finished and adjusted, new Bowden tubes, new throw out bearing and super clips.

    Yeah it is.

Fixed, but I damaged the copper plating with heat. The end is just polished steel now.

Running the engine this morning, I found a couple problems. The paper gasket under the generator was leaking or off center. I had to lift the fan shroud and glue it in place.

Then I noticed a fuel leak from one of the banjo solder joints. I’m going to try silver soldering it. We may have to make a new line if it doesn’t take.

I like them all. 36hp are a beautiful engine.

I spent the rest of the day getting the chassis ready for body union.

Runs great. No leaks. I drained the break-in oil and will adjust the valves when it is cooled.

JJ is too fast. We lost him this morning. Gnarly whoop hill climb for sunrise.

I’ve had a problem with doghouse oil cooler adapter machine work. One of the 6m studs being just barely drilled into the oil galley, and weeping around the threads.
