in reply to: Parkway projects #72481Subtle, but looks so good! Good work!
Hell yeah, new headliner is definitely in the works right after the new year!.. looking into the complete interior. Im a sucker for plaid and the new TMI sets are pretty cool. I wonder if it matches well with the headliner. Also I think Franz said once that my seat is incorrect, so i would probably correct that moving forward as well….
Happy Holidays You guys! Look forward to seeing you after new years!

in reply to: Buses By the Bridge #72197This is getting ridiculous, you guys are leaving a week before the show starts??? To wait in line?
Ive been watching this with a kind of odd bewilderment, and while seeing all of those busses is neat and all….that looks like the worst time ever ! Just looking at the pictures of everyone crammed in their makes me feel claustrophobic. And I’m not anti-social or anything but that is way to many people on one spot for me to deal with …yikes.
Ill enjoy the pictures though!
in reply to: Tom’s Sea Blue Cal look Sunroof 66 #72163Isn’ there a shade of Sea Blue Specifically for busses, and another specifically for Beetles?
in reply to: Bench Bleeding the Master cylinder #71519So if I read the chart correctly i should purchase 65-67 rear….correct?
in reply to: Bench Bleeding the Master cylinder #71518Franz, Took a Pic of the backing plate while home at lunch. No Holes in the backing plate which guess means earlier style. Old brakes were 1 3/16 wide and the ones I bought were 1 9/16.
I ordered the parts before I tore things apart and if memory serves me I ordered the wider type 3 brake shoes and cylinder because in my mind I thought we had done that when it was installed. Apparently it was just thing drums.
I included a pic of the new shoe just so you could see what I bought.
Me thinks I should smoke less and pay more attention when at the shop! And as always, thanks guys for answering the dumb questions
