Heading your way again in October for another silversmithing class, ok if I swing by and harass the help?
Jealous of your trip! Sounds amazing
in reply to: Fucking Bubba!!!! #85704Looks like fun times at KCW!
in reply to: KCW randomness #85522They are headed to my house!! Woo! Gonna be a messy messy run this year.
in reply to: JJ's projects #85497I’m so so glad for you John!!
in reply to: JJ's projects #85470No brap brap just yet!
My daily routine…get up make coffee (blooming the grounds of course😉), feed the dogs, check on this page for John’s back update (hell ya he’s getting better)!
Glad you’re healing up. Â How’s the elbow?
in reply to: JJ's projects #85413Happy to read of improvements…maybe you should schedule beach vacations after surgery so the only lifting you do is a cocktail.
in reply to: JJ's projects #85335Heal up JJ! So glad to read this.
in reply to: JJ's projects #85283Your back pain reminds me so much of when Jill broke her back and they pulled 4 bone shards out in surgery. Dr said it was like a razor blade on those nerves. Â Hoping you get some relief in 6 days John!
in reply to: JJ's projects #85051Bums me out to know how much pain you’re in John. Â And I’m selfishly bummed because I was looking forward to getting sassed on Shasta by you. Â Still hoping the best for all the things and that you get to be sitting in the drivers seat soon.

in reply to: Fucking Bubba!!!! #84994in reply to: KCW randomness #84968Glad to hear “good day”, hoping your surgery is all healed up John and the back is not giving you too much trouble today.
in reply to: KCW randomness #84849Congratulations!!! Woo!!
in reply to: KCW randomness #84543Haha, thanks John🙂
in reply to: JJ's projects #84366Well my failure on tranny #2 was a bent synchro ring. Just ever so slightly. I learned a lot and have a better understanding of transmissions. They are really not that complicated. Tony was very thoughtful about the low RPM theory.
in reply to: JJ's projects #84347Hmm that *is*  interesting. I’ll talk to my guy tomorrow and hear his thoughts. We did do a comparison between a NOS and a new synchro gear and the new one definitely sat further away than the original one, teeth barely touched. I’ll take pictures. Transmission stuff bums me out, but mainly because I’m on the ground doing it.
