in reply to: 67 Wrong Side Driver #34472I like your attention to details. Is this getting painted?

in reply to: 67 Wrong Side Driver #34418Pan assembly soon!
Why isn’t there more member build threads here like there use to be? Does KCW need a dedicated forum for “Members Builds” like the old site had? I know Instagram and FB have taken over for guys showing their build progress. I do the same thing on IG, but with a forum at least you can show your build exclusively and not have it watered down with pictures of food and your cats!
MAKE BUILD FORUMS GREAT AGAIN!
in reply to: 67 Wrong Side Driver #34417OG beam stiffeners just because… Mated to a CB 2″ beam.
I had to massage this RHD pedal assembly quite a bit. The clutch hook was a crude “fab” job by a previous owner. Fixed that using the available LHD pedal shaft upgrade kit… slice, dice & weld. Also the clutch arm was flimsy s fuck! I could literally twist it in my hand.. So I sacrificed a rusted out frozen LHD pedal assembly for its clutch arm and welded it back to back to the RHD cultch arm to box it in nicely. I did this mod with the pedals in my Notchback and it just feels super solid. Same with the Lokar pedal pads. I like em. They look cool…
in reply to: 67 Wrong Side Driver #34416Been plugging away at the wrong side driver…
in reply to: JJ's projects #34414Really?? If I left a bus outside for 8 years, it’d look like JJs camper bus! How does this still look so good after being outside??!! Congrats JJ.
… he has had to leave it outside all year the last 8 years or so, in the back yard no less……
Nice Hawthorne Franz!!
Heck yeah, I’d love to do a trail tour around Junction some time!
Thats going to be nice Justin. If you make it out here, I’ll take you for a lap at lunch loops, or 18 rd or horsethief canyon.
Speaking of bikes… I’m finally building myself something to actually ride. The Koski Bros: Bro Bomber. They made a run of 100 of these frame & forks as a throw back to the original 70s Pro Cruiser. Its 27.5 tires and will will get a Fox suspension fork. I’d love to come to GJ and ride some trails!!
