    Very cool. I love that it will be published that KCW was a major player in making patina cars an acceptable part of this hobby.

    I see that the thread page count is at the bottom of each page. Sometimes I’ll want to skip through pages looking for a specific post on a page. I have to scroll to the bottom of the page to get to the page count buttons. Would it be a pain to also add the page count to the top of each page as well as the bottom?

    No Franz, the dropout adjuster is a factory thing. Being prewar, the threads were a pitch that no longer exists… They were close enough to 6mm so I re-tapped the dropout to 6mm and made new adjuster screws out of stainless full thread pan head bolts. Turned the adjuster end down on a laithe and cut the pan head off and Loc-Tited a VW oil drain plate nut to them. Added the spring for tension, but mostly for looks…

    This car reminds me so much of my Notchback… Everything new with patting Ruby Red. Love it!
