in reply to: 67 Wrong Side Driver #10254
Damn, you work fast! Looks great… Gives me some motivation to get my own ’67 on the road.
in reply to: Bob’s 65′ camper #10251That looks like an awesome place to start – I’d kill/donate a nut for a bus like that nowadays!!
in reply to: all things JJJ’s #10173He picked it up day after New Years in Calgary Alberta. I think almost all his funky green is in hand, he trying to escape work long enough to come up and bust ass at the shop for a weekI don’t know how he’s lasted this long not laying a finger on it! So so so so amped that my metalwork is almost done…..was a chunk of work camping in it is going to feel so good.
Do you have an email address for Patrick please? Or if you could give him mine: barefootdriver@outlook.com I want to put some pictures of his truck in the book..
in reply to: Toms rhd Oval Vert #10047LOVE this pic! Car’s gonna be super-sick for sure.

Thank you again JJ for your generosity.
in reply to: Pat’s Projects #9878Brilliant. KCW moving the VW trends forward.
in reply to: KCW randomness #9828Makes me regret selling this:
Bought it from Norway in 2012, was pretty rusty, but not that bad by today’s standards…
in reply to: JJ's projects #9827You’re not squeamish then ?
in reply to: 66 deluxe megahatch #9826Just saw the video on Instagram. So badass. Congrats Franz ?
in reply to: Parkway projects #9780Looks like a nice car..another car that’s on my dream list.
in reply to: 67 Euro 1500 Bug – New Project #9779Thats cool. I’ve always wanted to be in the position to buy one of my old cars back. Looked better the first time you owned it.
Me too – it’s the most I’ve ever paid for a Bug. It did look better before, but hopefully nothing that a buff and blend and replacing a few parts won’t fix.
I’ve been driving around in my girl’s Fiat 500c since I sold my Golf TDI back in early Dec, so just looking forward to having my own bug on the road.
The guy I’m buying it off sent me progress pics of the motor – here is the pic I took of the rebuilt long block when I put a deposit down:
and here’s what it look like now:
I think I’ll probably detail it some before fitting it to the car. The good news is I’ve secured some space in a heated workshop from next week in exchange for flipping some bus spindles for a guy I know.
Here was the RHD Swedish postal bug I managed to flip for £4k profit so I could buy the ’67 and have some cashback!
Just a fat chick late model to you guys I bet, but I actually really like the 68-70 Bugs after my beloved ’68 sunroof (which I still regret letting go).
More progress next week fingers crossed – it has snowed in the UK this week and temps dropped to -10 degrees C. This country grinds to a halt when it snows, it’s laughable. Everything is on lock down right now..
in reply to: 67 Euro 1500 Bug – New Project #9777Looks pretty nice to start with!!!! Divorce…. sounds like a pain in the arse.
Haha, yeah it wasn’t the most fun I’ve ever had. Got the right girl on my team now though, so all good
in reply to: 66 deluxe megahatch #9776Been following this all the way. Can’t wait to see it on the road.
