Not uncommon to see LWB 2 seats. With the mid engine it allows all your extras (fuel cell, battery, tool and storage boxes, etc. ) to be mounted low down in the frame behind the seats . Generally lowering the center of gravity. Looks like like a really good base to work from.alykatParticipantApril 15, 2020 at 7:21 amPost count: 455
Thanks pat for fixing that seal and adjusting e- brake. My wiper motor sucks. U have to spin the armatur by hand to get them to work. A refurbished motor that works would be sweet. The only other thing that was weird is that when u swivel around in the front seat 2 many times it turns the nut on the button side so it unthreads its self and becomes loose. Not sure if u can put a weld somewhere so it does get loosen up with a few spins of the swivel seat. 4 bolts that mount the base takes the seat out and u can tighten up and weld. Thank you guys for fixing my shitt
Maybe just safety wire it ?alykatParticipantApril 13, 2020 at 5:46 amPost count: 455alykatParticipantApril 11, 2020 at 7:18 amPost count: 455alykatParticipantApril 9, 2020 at 7:16 amPost count: 455alykatParticipantApril 7, 2020 at 8:54 amPost count: 455

How sturdy are those PVC bikes? I love the idea. I just wonder how much squeaking and flexing is going on? More than JJ’s rail buggy?
I had similar thoughts about strength, so did a short test structure. Looks like properly done it should be strong enough. On the down side my hands hurt so bad and lack the strength that even using the tubing cutters is difficult and the pain pills in large enough measure to be effective turn me into a zombie. VA appointment scheduled for the 6th to consider possible surgery has been rescheduled to the end of June, so I guess this idea gets kicked on down the line.alykatParticipantApril 3, 2020 at 9:23 amPost count: 455
So, with the change in directions in life last year I got rid of pretty much all my VW stuff, all my big shop equipment, a lot of tools, and most of my excess vehicles. Now for the first time since I was around seven I don’t have a project (or several) staring me in the face every day. Also now staying away from people as much as possible and even working with the rescue horses has left me with a lot spare time which I don’t deal with well. I may have found a cure. These are adult pedal carts made mostly of PVC and old bicycle parts, and I can probably build one in the living room. What do you guys think ?alykatParticipantApril 1, 2020 at 12:03 pmPost count: 455
