Dallas county officials are trying to get the city and surrounding area ready for the spike that’s coming. Officials just extended the stay at home till end April 30th. Hopefully it won’t be bad.John JonesKeymasterApril 4, 2020 at 3:32 pmPost count: 6326

We’re still seeing patients, but only for physical therapy and medical doctor appointments. I’m not doing any chiropractic adjustments for my safety and the patient’s safety. We’re all wearing N95 masks and gloves all day long.FranzKeymasterApril 6, 2020 at 1:52 pmPost count: 3367

Wheels are paid and should ship out tomorrow. While I was paying and talking with Al, he told me that the pair of early deep 6″ wheels I sent him had never been weld on and were perfectly round. He said usually now days all the early wheels he sees are either out of round or have been weld on. He suggested I never let these wheel go. 😎Pat KKeymasterApril 21, 2020 at 10:16 amPost count: 1268
Started finishing off the last bit of metal work on the pan. Welded up clutch tube reinforcement access points.
Pulled the roller dolly off the frame horns only to find the pass side bolt had been rammed home and damaged the threads.
Managed to get it tapped and there is still plenty of thread left to torque the bolt down proper.
Checked seat bases for fit. Looks like we’ll need to find a seat adjuster/stop to complete the pass side base.
Next up is chopping off the old style mount and welding in a later style to match the later trans case were using.
We will build it if it comes.John JonesKeymasterApril 21, 2020 at 11:12 amPost count: 6326
Good shit Pat… Thanks for the updates!… 😎 Glad we are moving along now… 😎Lone StarParticipantApril 21, 2020 at 1:06 pmPost count: 147
Thanks Pat for the update and pics. Glad to see Mary’s Vert is getting some loving. 🙂Pat KKeymasterApril 22, 2020 at 9:40 amPost count: 1268
Dug a trans cradle out of the stash for this. Fit the new mount to the torsion housing. Bolted all the mounts to the trans and fit the whole lot to the pan and burned it in.
Also fit the body to the pan to make sure all of the mount holes would line up for assembly.
We will build it if it comes.
