Kelly….  We need to spend some time on your car getting the doors dialed in.. the hinge situation is messy and complicated and should have already been dealt with before paint but wasn’t.. and now, we are going to have to tip toe around paint and get this shit dialed in.. Vert hinges and covers and grease zerks is a bigger job than most realize….

Sooo.. We need a big OL chunk of money.. so we can spend some quality and quantity time on your rig please… 😎  😎  😎

Some adjustments and fitting on the top the last couple of days.

Doug made me take a picture of this tag, and said that the top canvas had a 5 year warranty.

We ran into a problem yesterday. Either the top frame or windshield frame is not original to the car…the top latch mounting holes are wider on the top than the windshield????

Must be crazy early 54 stuff. Not a big deal, we can re-drill the top frame header bow to make them fit.

We also need to look at ordering that really expensive 3 piece chrome strip kit for the top. Doug is ready to nail down seams.👍

Chrome strips are still out of stock. I’ve asked WW if they know when. They don’t.

I’m going to get the doors bolted-on and move forward.

Hinge covers and doors are going together today.

Windshield is being cut at our local Glass Doctor. Thanks DOM!

Weatherstrip and trim on order.

Top trim kit is still unavailable.

Looks like the hinge covers were not fit to the door prior to paint. I was able to install one.

The other three I had to trim to fit. Prepped for paint tomorrow.

The hens teeth aluminum grease zerks got cleaned and polished.
