It’s been a whirlwind.. I Let Cory jump in front of the line too…. 😎 😎 😎  Push for lava,.. didn’t happen… then push on the 1164 for Crandon… Cory has been on our minds now for months… 😎  It’s been fun, I hope we do more stuff in the future!!!  I hope I see this bus out on the road often!!!  I hope we get to do some road trips together too…

UNI filters from CB Performance, came with the off-road carb kit that has a special float bowl vent. 5 quarts of penngrade 20w50 and Bilstien shocks too. The bumper splash pans had some broken-off bolts that needed drilled and tapped.

Ready to prime the oil system, start and drive tomorrow.

The exhaust tip un-bolts, it’s probably a good idea to remove it on rough roads to prevent it getting smashed closed by the bumper.

It’s raining like cats and dogs this afternoon. I know the bus won’t melt…but I’d rather not get it wet and dirty if we’re still working on it.

The engine is fired up in the bus, and everything is cherry. No oil leaks. I have a couple lights to troubleshoot, but for the most part the electrical all checks out. Still need to installed a shifter, speedometer cable, and parcel shelf.

Volvo 12v wiper motor clean-up and install. I found some NOS black commercial wiper blades in the KCW stash too.

The nose emblem clipped in place and JBwelded the small holes around it closed. Then brushed them with some dove blue paint.

Wiring finalized. Parcel tray and splash pan cleaned with simple green. Excellent condition original paint.
