Its a 2332cc with a big ole transmission. I think it has wedge ported hot rod heads, bored out intakes, and IDFs. Its great for pulling hills around here at 70mph and passing people in the left lane going uphill, but not very friendly on the wallet when 87 octane is over $5/gallon.

Spent some time on the brakes after everyone left work the other day. Sanded the shoes and drum surface with some 80 grit and 45’d the outside edge of the shoes. It seems to have helped a bit and is squeaking a lot less, but still sounds like something is touching… the springs look good and so do the brake lines, but it looked like there may have been a small area where the shoes were touching the drum. Notice anything weird in these pics?

Pretty cool you get to work on your bus there!! I’m sure they don’t mind looking at it 😏

I’ve had the springs rub on the drum. Hard to see where they are rubbing. I’ve had better luck with og springs. They seem to be bent slightly different than the repop springs. Who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️

I like how neat Will is being with laying down papers to catch dust.

That is defintaly not how he operates at KCW.😂

Paranoia and this damn heatwave got the best of me… Ordered a Blazecut and 1 5/8″ heater boxes…. Brakes are still squeaky AF but I think I can deal with it later

I figured I don’t get any do-overs with not carrying some fire suppression, and couldn’t stop thinking about Rustys experience recently

Haha well I’m not totally sure I’m allowed to be doing this stuff in there so…. better to leave no trace

I’m itching to get on the road! Waiting until next week is gonna be tough. Spending this weekend tuning things up a bit more.

I can attest to the fact that he is now!! Last night we camped in a weird little spot off a dirt road right before St George. On the way down to the spot, we questioned the steepness but decided it was okay.. On our way out this morning it was way softer than expected.. after the third or fourth try and letting some air out of the back tires we were able to make it out! I’m sure the engine bay doesn’t look so clean anymore 😎

Awesome!!! Sounds like your having an adventure.

Does the pop top work correctly Gianni?

We will build it if it comes.
