insulate everything!!!! Glad your finally moving forward! I can’t wait to see it all done!!!!! So Will… How’s the real world treating you??? When’s our next road trip???????????? any chic’s in your life lately??
Alright looks like I have a bit more insulation work to do then!
I’m super ready for a road trip…
Real world is okay so far. I’m definitely going through a “grass is greener” dilemma and really missing the mountains. Actually have been casually applying for some more stuff back in Colorado. No consistent chicks at the moment so at least I’m able to focus!
The mountains are awesome…. So is the beach!!!! So is the Ocean!!! There are LOTS of awesome places to see and live and explore….. Your young… Time is on your side…. You have plenty of time to enjoy all of it… Keep making good decisions… Keep enjoying that bus!!!! Stay single, and stay free… 😎
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
Was at the brewery the other night and some Prius didn’t know he was still in reverse after almost backing into the bus multiple times… no damage though, the steel on these bumpers is THICC
Moved to take up 2 spots and then Kula stood guard the rest of the time
I see some of the worst drivers out there in Prius’.
I'm at the age where "fuck off", "fuck you", and "fuck it" answer most questions.
Well I’m back on the hunt for a job, so I’m addressing some stuff with my new free time.
My right rear brake was making some weird intermittent creaking noises, so I popped the drum off to take a look. It’s pretty dirty, like a lot dirtier than I would’ve expected. I guess they were just poorly adjusted?
Also noticed some tire marks on the muffler, so I’ll be banging on that even more…
Looking good Will. Sorry to hear about your lack of employment. Maybe you could get a job at a VW shop.
Lucky dude… No boss…. Those days are gonna come to end before you know it…. enjoy this freedom… Before you know it… The world will have you in slaved to debt and corporate america before you know it.. 😎 Then you’ll be digging out for the rest of your life!!
4 CORE Offroad this weekend in Colorado… Rhythms on the Rio next weekend.. 😎 Time for a road trip Will!!!!
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
Big hug Willy.
I fed u a lot of shit and u handled it. 😱
Hurry the fuck up! 😘😘😘.
That’s a 3 kiss form Dale!! Red! White! and Dale! Baby. NASCAR!!!
We will build it if it comes.
Come out and party will!!!
“Life is a waterfall,
We’re one in the river and one again after the fall”Thanks guys! I’m actually not that bummed about leaving that place. It had cool benefits and such, but culture and the day to day tasks weren’t a good fit… nobody talked to each other the entire day, and we all know how much I LOVE to talk. Looking for some more car-focused stuff now, and mostly back in Colorado.
RIGHT as I’m able to take some time and play with my bus it has decided to get stuck in 3rd! 😭Bit of a head-scratcher since Eddie was just inside of the transmission and I know it has a new hockey stick and such.
Taking the grub screws out to see if I can isolate it to the transmission or the linkage, but thinking it’s not the linkage… If that’s the case the nose cone will come off and I’ll see if I can get a look inside, but I don’t know if I can with the mid mount in there. Hopefully I’m not fucked and have to drop the motor ☹️
Well, I don’t think it’s totally fucking fucked, mate, Seems to be going into gear again and I think I’ve found the problem.
It looks like the adjuster in the beam is pushing down on the front shift linkage so that the pin in the shifter is just baarrely able to sit in the cup and the notch at the front of the linkage, so if it goes just a bit too far it pops out and jams the shifter in place. Thinking I just need to adjust the beam down a little bit and it should remedy it, hopefully.
I think that should solve it. The adjusters and the linkage have a lot more clearance between them now.
It’s probably turned about a quarter inch top and bottom on the beam. I think I like it at this height more, but can always go back up! Looks a lot more level with a little bit of nose height still.
