Ha! Don’t worry corporate, I’m pretty used to it by now! I’ve got some stuff in the works, but its a L-O-N-G process… Everyone I’ve talked to tough says its taken them at least 3 months to find something, so I guess its normal. I just feel more pressure since everyone started before me…but they don’t have an awesome bus soo… I guess I’m really the one coming out ahead!

A house in Gunnison had an old rusted out SO 42 sitting in the yard forever. I asked the owner about it a long time ago. I think he sold the bus but had the camper seats and ice box still in the garage. I wonder if he still has them. I should stop and ask. I bet the original so 42 stuff pretty hard to find.

Yeah it is! And the people who have it for sale usually want a ton for them!! $$$$ 🤑🤑🤑

Beverly is a awesome mom.  You would think after you send your kids of to college  , you wouldn’t have to cleanup after them.

Just kidding Will is a great kid

UPDATE: Starting a job at a cool newish marketing agency down in downtown San Diego next month! I’m pretty excited about it, and especially excited to be finished with looking for work and being broke all the time. Best part is its dog friendly and they do unlimited paid time off, so I’ll still be able to make campouts and such!

    Congrats Willy!!!

Am I understanding this right? They’re going to pay you when your not there and you can take off as much time as u want? Need a secretary? I’m available.

I can tell you from corporate experience, they definitely don’t mean unlimited paid time off.  It’s an accounting trick that keeps paid vacation liabilities off their books.  The second your manager thinks you aren’t producing the same (or more) than you would if you were in the office, she’ll give you plenty of time to go camping on your permanent vacation.  Sorry to harsh your buzz.  Congratulations on the job!

From what I heard they were talking about tasking him with their automotive marketing… sounds like he’d be able to create content while on vacation 😎🍹 I think Will is most excited about not getting crap for not having a job

Open PTO isnt really about accounting tricks.  Its a result of millenials wantimg flexibility and not feelimg like they are on the clock systematiccally.    Will, you will still work 2300 hours.  Trust me.   The hours will just come more flexibly without a 9-5 clock.    My 2 cents as a CPA.   Whatever [popping coors light sound] ….just my firm’s experience which may not be like every where.  Bet kcw is just like that.   Come and go when u want, but if u wanna get paid, put ur hours in with client projects.  U wanna work 3 days 15 hours a day?  Go for it.  U wanna work 5 days 9 hours? Cool.  Either way works.    Welcome to open PTO.

Haha well it’s within reason of course. Basically if you get your stuff done or work a little extra you can take time off, after getting it approved and such.

I know! It just is fun to say. It’s still very much an agency so there will be lots of fast approaching deadlines and late nights, but they know that and try and keep a good balance.
