One thing leads to another…. I can relate! It’s the might as wells… Might as well give it a new paint job, might as well paint the bottom while I’m at it, might as well freshen up the trans, cant put that beam back in looking like that… might as wells. Good Job!
Yup! That’s it exactly. And the list of might as wells stacks up fast…
Just finished seam sealing, so we’re still just waiting on paint. I guess I was “high maintenance” about the tone of Sea Blue so it’s still being mixed up. ??♀️??♀️??♀️
In the meantime, here’s a before and after of the cradle. Looks like someone did some serious off-roading in this thing since this was all bashed up and nearly every bolt for the splash pan had been sheared off and needed to be extracted.

Most puppies like you waste time and $$$ in places they never could get it back….. Glad you didn’t fall into that!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Funny you say that Rusty.. We were talking about it last night… He has missed out on xmas, spring break, and now 4th of july weekend… BUT.. He has something REAL and tangible.. and the money spent is into an investment… In the end he will have some Real.. and sell able.. Sure he missed out on a few memories and good times….. But if you ask me… he has had some good times here… and I assure you… He has learned a lot of skills that he will be able to use for the rest of his life…. He just finished kicking ass through 4 years of very hard schooling… Now he’s getting a boot camp style education at KCW…. 😎 He has made memories here that will out live, out last, and out tell about any drunken spring break trip…. 😎
