I *think* I just ordered my last piece of sheetmetal, the complete C pillar. After I tore the drivers long side off it appeared to be bent inwards slightly. Will be nice to have a fresh piece in there. Can’t wait to get this panel on and give the welder a rest!

The good news is that when you are done with metal and paint work; assembly on a single cab is a breeze.

this has escalated into a partial floor replacement now, that’s two expensive panels to fix the last 15″ or so of this floor! the tar or whatever was there really wrecked the metal under the tank…..

I reluctantly drilled the spot welds for the separation panel and went to work. 🙁

I don’t doubt that’s a sh*tty area to have to cut and weld in.  In the end you’ll be glad you didn’t punt on doing that repair properly.  Stay after it!

it’s confining and filthy but the metal is so lacy it is coming out easy… sucks but you are right might as well bang it out now

You’ll  regret not replacing rusty metal more than you will regret not digging into a spot you know is rusty. Keep On It!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Been a long time since I’ve posted but heres how my single cab looks now, I wanted to drag my truck out to GJ for the KCW treatment but around the same time Seth from Cookers ended up starting his own shop and finished this thing up real nice. Still gotta get some KF gates but shes almost done!
