^^^^ I’ve had that happen also. I figured it was because of my iPhone updating at night and somehow loosing the login and password.
Although it doesn’t effect other sites.

Alykat & Tlambert, I just added a plugin that should ensure that doesn’t happen anymore – you should be remembered forever now. Keep in mind that logging in from different devices will invalidate your login everywhere else as well, and that cannot be changed for security reasons. The new “remember me” settings will take effect on your next login, so it is very possible that you are kicked out again as you would normally expect, but after that it should actually remember you.

Same thing happens to me…cough, cough,  after I delete my search history from watching porn…😳😳

^^^^ Clearing your browser cache will delete your login information for the site as well – well put Pat 😄😄😄😄

 

I also just fixed quoted images being posted twice, turned out to be a plugin setting that I didn’t know was enabled. Thanks for letting me know of these issues guys, It is hard to know of problems like this when I am usually focused on other aspects of the site.

 

Additionally, nobody will be able to edit/upload their user profile picture for a short while because the plugin I used for this functionality no longer works. I am looking for a fix right now and aiming to have it back working today.

I found a solution to this issue, however the route I have opted to go is a larger change. The change will bring us modern user profiles with more customization (and, of course, user avatar upload), as well as improve several backed user management stuff. I think I’ll have it ready to go within the next few days, I’ll post here when its ready to go

Thanks Zach. As a total computer idiot I wasn’t certain if it was just something I did or was computer related. No big deal except at my advanced age remembering what to log in as a password is not always easy.

Hey guys, some network hardware was having issues at the shop for the past 24 hours, but we have gotten it all fixed up now! Everyone was probably logged out of their accounts because some network configuration changed slightly. Sorry for having your social network offline for awhile!

The User profile picture upload option is now functioning again. The plugin we were using got updated and fixed, and the one I wanted to replace it with turned out to have some unforeseen complications that would not be compatible with our current setup – so I opted to leave everything as it is!

Once again, post up here if you notice any minor or major issues on the site!
