I’m in! I’ll be coming out Monday morning I think…. Throw that junk together quick and I’ll be ready! I’ll let KB know
sweet…. I can’t wait to see some of the new busses I haven’t seen yet… 😎
Luck is when preparation and opportunity meet.👊
Let’s hop in some of them and go test them out 😎
May 17-19 we are going to the WEST DESERT. BE THERE OR BE SQUARE! We will be leaving from Lehi Friday morning and cruise along the west side of Utah lake south to Delta, then west on HWY 50. There are lots of cool things to see and more details will follow. There is no gas west of Delta until the border so be prepared with some spare gas cans. All vehicles are welcome. We will camp 2 nights and be back to civilization on Sunday. Many miles of dirt road are begging to be explored. One stop is going to be at Ibex. Which I posted up some info about when I camped there in my bus a couple months ago. Out on a big salt flat. super cool. This whole trip will feel like you’re on another planet all alone. Super cool. Then I wanted to head toward Notch Peak and the hobbit house in Marjum Canyon. Then the Border Inn on the border of UT and NV for gas. Then there are some hot/warm springs near by that I have never been to but want to check out. Then Topaz Mountain and then back to Lehi. This is all a tentative plan. Up for suggestions and I might be trying to take roads that I see on the map that don’t really exist…. So it’ll be a fun adventure. Here is a tentative “guide” of what Im thinking. https://goo.gl/maps/UVxYeLqAvEEKMMiX8 BRING LOTS OF FUEL.
well thats just too damn cool you can post that map up!!!! I guess I should plan on this one too… Sounds like a good rally… and a few nights camping…. First I gotta get to Coles…. Might have to get to Cole’s day or two early…. I wanna see the new shop…
SO?? How many people planning on the trip.. Cole??????
Luck is when preparation and opportunity meet.👊
I don’t know. Not a lot from Utah… maybe just a few of us total. Which is ok with me😎 I think Wayner and badger for sure. Hopefully Derek with his so23. Maybe Emilee. Maybe Weston. I don’t know who from CO. I bet about 6 from Utah. Anyone on here planning on going? Bubba? Rusty? Dario? Jesse? Pat? Franz? Dan? Let’s go!
Bring fire wood. And gas. And fun

Cool. I don’t think we will have service. But, those big sticks you guys always show off supposedly have 300 miles of CB range, right? haha so you’ll know where we are?
Ill send you a couple gps pins of where I think we might camp just in case.

What an awesome weekend! Thanks to everyone for coming. Bubba surprised me and texted me the day before that he and Cali were coming! Fun having some Colorado friends there! More next time👍🏼
I clocked about 600 miles for this trip. About 300 of those miles were dirt roads! A lot of cool stuff to see in the West Desert. We just saw some of it. Rain, sun, snow, wind, dust, mud, hot springs! Everything!
Snow near Amasa Valley!Dave broke a cv on this steep section. He and Jason fixed it in the snow. Back together and finished the trip with no issues!cool cabins and old mining equipment up at amasa valley. Aspen trees too! Ibex! We saw this climbing area. They were filming a movie there. We headed out from there to our first camp! We all went full speed over the salt flat! So funFirst camp site near IbexHobbit house in Marjum canyonCamp #2Gandy Warm springs. Look it up on YouTube. So cool!Bubba decided to test the groups tire changing skills. He got 2 flats. Time for some new tread. We had compressors and plug kits so all good👍🏼Last stop Baker Hot springs! Hot water even in the cold rain and wind! So cool to see so many buses there.hope some more of you can make it next time!
