I’ve been in brief contact with Greg at Boxeer. He made plans for a power steering pump last week. Hes sending them out to get cut on a CNC machine. Maybe we’ll have those parts in another 6 weeks.

I also asked about DPF and all the plugs on the wire harness for it. He said not to install it and leave everything unplugged.

Hes putting together a box of parts for us. Like exhaust flanges and throttle delete flange. Stuff to use for fabrication.

A type 4/bus high torque starter arrived today, compu-fire brand from empi. I need to find a tdi fuel filter assembly, euro 5 glow plugs, and a air to water intercooler assembly.

Hopefully, that high torque starter will get it done with a Subi diesel. If Not, Andy turned me on to the VW Jetta TDI starter. That and an adapter from Rocky Mountain Westy, will get it done.

Been getting some conversion parts from Boxeer. Which means we can make some more progress. Power steering pump bracket is probably headed our way today. I need to get a 3.0 h-6 power steering pump now.

Also been thinking about the new tablet type display. You guys should pick out whatever you like best. I’m thinking bigger is better? Probably mounted in the center of the dash or near the shifter.

We got a prototype power steering pump bracket and figured out that it fits a 06 tribeca pump.  I ordered a mkiv tdi fuel filter assembly, and subaru euro5 glow plugs yesterday…I got a second set of plugs for spares, because its going to be impossible to find replacement parts for this engine without ordering them from europe. About ready to fit the engine to the van. Maybe next week while Cole is here.
