I heard a lot of cussing coming from this corner yesterday.
That made me laugh out loud! ๐ I can only imagine the frustration this project will cause.
We’re about to send this subaru diesel back to boxeer.
This is a euro 6 engine we got. All the stuff he (greg blachon) has develoved is for the euro 5 engine. Its not the same. The 6 engine has more crap and is more complicated…not like what greg was showing on samba:instagram:youtube post. Frustrating.
I’m sure we can figure it out…Just not what I was planning for. So far, the parts and service from boxeer has been disappointing.
I didn’t intend to be guinea pig. ๐
I didnโt intend to be guinea pig.
That definitely wasn’t the plan…
We bought an engine cradle from Rocky Mountain Westy. It should bolt right up, if we had motor mounts.
Pat is at the Subaru dealership right now trying to figure out what we can use.ย
Longer genuine Porsche/Verbus lug studs and modified hubs centers to accept the Audi alloy wheels.
Boxeer raised turbo exhaust manifold. Showing the EGR cooler assembly that gets deleted.
I have no idea what Iโm looking at but it is AWESOME!!!!!! ๐ย ๐ย ๐
kinda of strange to hear the guys are struggling with something. must be some complicated shit!ย ๐
We’ll get through it. A regular gas engine would be done already.
If anyone can get shit working and working right, you guys can.ย ๐
Any word from Boxeer? Did that call on Monday actually happen?
vanagon isn’t spelled right anyway… I knew we should have not worked on this hermaphradite confused fucking non usa optioned mess… ๐ณ

The big tires looks sweet. Makes the whole van look bigger and more capable.
The wheel well will need a little trim. Also thinking about trimming the lug studs shorter and going with closed end Porsche alloy lug nuts.
