    I think Franz got a different starter for you…  Hopefully that aircomp gets back soon and he can put all this back together..

    Has anyone talked about flying Greg out so he can put his blessings on things?????  a tune, a check out a clean bill of health…. 😎

    Ya, we have been emailing with him. Depending on timing of a trip Greg is already taking to Denver we will either fly him to SLC or he will drive over to Junction. Hopefully we will know by today. Im heading south to hit my brother’s wedding no later than dec 13th in San Diego and then I’ll head to Baja from there.

    I re read Greg’s thread and it got me psyched to cruise in this rig! Going to be fun. Looks like he had a rad trip to the top of South America and back. Cool photos at least. Our vanagon will be even more ultimate!     Going to pull this machine in tomorrow and finish ‘er up. I have a compressor to install, a tach circuit board to modify, a rack latch to install, a race capture file to try, and new Bosch TDI starter that is supposed to have higher cranking RPM.

    Hopefully that new starter helps that thing in the cold? Took a lot of cranking when Emilee and I drove it. Thanks Franz
