Installing the ARB compressor today. I cleaned it up into a self contained unit, and laid it sideways to fit under the cabinet to the left of the engine. Toggle switch mounted on the left.
Then found that it didn’t turn on. Tested everything found, the relay and switches were all good. Power and ground to the motor. I decided to pull the cover to check the brushes. Found a resistor-thingy not allowing continuity to the brush. I think you ordered this Cole. Can you get a warranty replacement coming?
Does that meter say ouch?
I'm at the age where "fuck off", "fuck you", and "fuck it" answer most questions.
I will call in the morning and see what the options are. Got it from go westy, they’re usually cool about this kind of stuff. I’ll let you know what they say

Different than the typical view out the dirty shop door.
Who would have ever thought there would be one Vanagon in the KCW compound…….but 3???!!!!! Hahahaha.

Is there a part number on the oil filter? I am reading up on some ee20 forums and I am seeing a part number of 15208AA110. Going to try and buy up a bunch of oil filters out of Europe. Stock up
Yep, the engine has the same number on the oil filter.
Here is a good technical read from Subaru on the EE20 diesel engine.
Ill give that a read, thanks. What is oil dilution in diesel motors? Is it just diesel getting in the fuel and ruining the oil? How often should the oil be changed in this thing? Im starting to join some ee20 forums. Hopefully I can wrap my head around this thing some more

(You’ll have to translate this in google chrome. But some cool info.
You guys have the euro 6 engine which has a chain driven high pressure fuel pump instead of the gear as seen above
I was laughing at this one. Some good pictures from the 2008 Geneva auto show.
Check out the size of the rod pins too!
