Can you say plug and play…. 😎  This is how the Kit should have come… we would have been done months ago… 😎  Nice Work of it Peet!  I know we aren’t done. but we are over the hill…8-)  That wiring doesn’t look complicated.. You just plug a few plugs in… Engine is wired!  😎

Nicely done! Thanks for bailing me out of this horror show of a “kit”. We will definitely celebrate when this nightmare is behind us. But what a beast this rig will be….

It seems.. that if someone wanted to make a real legit kit… they would copy what Peet has done… and this would be one easy install…  😎  But who wants to reverse engineer this now… and I really doubt anyone would ask us to do this again….   just my thoughts….  I also hope this wraps up soon.. we have a race to be at in June!!!

I present the simplified ee20 euro6 engine. See the two connections on the front left of the engine? Those go into the junction box to install/uninstall the engine in a few steps.

The engine management, injector driver, wiring all cleaned up and strait-forward easy to work on.

All the extra connectors, wires, and hoses that we no longer have a need for:

The power steering pump is now from a 95 legacy. Much more common part than what we had on before. Fits better because it has a larger pulley that clears a nub on the timing cover. That the 06 tribeca pump did not.

    Very nice Peet and Franz!!

I don’t know what the clean shops relationship is with old man George, I sent him a subi swap kit, programmed. Gas engine swaps are a shit load easier…

when is jj daughter gonna get her swap?

This thing feels pretty good! It’s got some power! The shifter bushings are a little sloppy and the front tires rub when turning. Still have a list of things to do. It’s easy stuff now, we got the hard part done
