Looks like he didn’t update his last few hours!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚also cut out nasty on the rear wheel wells and rolled it back into the blast booth Β to clean the bones before rust patches are installedπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

😎 😎 😎  LOLOLOLOLOL.. Yup.. Thanks Rusty for having my back… 😎  Β I’m gonna say it again, so it doesn’t go unnoticed…. Overlapping documentation and more posting leads to more posting and more interest.Β  These forums are still soo cool… and my customers love em too.. and with only slight extra effort…. we can keep em alive and in motion!!!

I put in an order with WolfsBurg West yesterday..Β  I need the closing panel in the back on the drivers side before I put that heater channel in.Β  So I ordered sheet metal to fix the front and rear clips also.Β  Β Then… Like my buddy Rusty said…Β  I cut out the nasty on the inside of the car behind the body mounts… Yours are rusty.. but only on in the back side.. so I dissected all the rust out, then blasted the fuck out of the back and insides till no rust was seen!!!Β  😎 😎 😎  The aftermarket body mounts suck.. so I don’t change em unless they are really fucked.. I will make it look good!!!

I was thinking about the convenience of being able to roll your car out to my blast booth and touch up an area.. I love it..Β  Β  KCW!!!!!Β  Didn’t have to tow it anywhere, ask for anyone’s help, get anyone involved… 😎

Thats a bad cut on that finger there John. I was replacing the heater channels on the drag car and cut 1/3 rd of my thumb off. Had stitched for a damn month.Β 20210720_143031Car is looking great.

    A couple pics

I cut out and blasted the back side of the body mounts so I can repair in reverse. Β I think I will get this apron off today in prep for new rear sheet metal on both sides from WW.

Apron off. Β I think it is still useable, and they cost $340 from WW. Β  So I’ll fix it right upπŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» Β You can see the sides suckπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž.
