Stance up front looks like pretty good.
I am thinking we need to throw some 195s out back and 185s up front. Or……185s or 195s all around. Thanks for the update. Franz, let me know if we are missing anything that I need to source. Thanks. Hood prop? Not sure I saw one of those in the stack.
Still need a vert dome light. I should get on that.
Oh ya….also…..the dust covers……..yikes.WillyModeratorDecember 18, 2018 at 4:40 pmPost count: 973
With that wheel/tire combo it looks like its asking for a Mendeola coilover setup with big ol sway bars and a turbo and stuffJWDIIParticipantDecember 19, 2018 at 6:28 amPost count: 374

Ahhh yeah. Engine parts arriving. Porsche shroud to rob the linkage from.PeteParticipantJanuary 15, 2019 at 7:34 amPost count: 813

I went out looking for parts this morning. Trying to install 40hp tin on a 1914cc.
The first problem I can see is a doghouse oil cooler is not going to work with the Porsche linkage. Not sure that stale-air heater boxes would work with a doughouse fan shroud anyways.
So that means we have to stay with an old type cooler. Or maybe delete it and run an external. Hmmmm… I liked that fancy oil cooler that Pete had.

Here’s their contact info if you want to give them a shout: https://www.airflow-systems.com/category/motorsports-oil-coolers/
They are very expensive (prices have gone up a good bit since I bought mine), but Porsche guys with performance modified engines seem to love them. And after custom fitting an external cooler the price may be close to wash.
