I don’t know where to start on that lid.. I have other W’s in the trailer I can rob from… or just put these vents in a much nicer W to start with…8-)

How quickly will the forums be able to see two dirty shop projects become clean shop business??? Removables later, paint now!

HA! JJ is hoping to have this painted by March 17th….talking about another coat of primer yesterday. The doors are blocked to the car. The removables(minus decklid) are perfectly fit in metal.

Its getting a metallic base coat/clear coat job. That is a little more sensitive to small scratches and imperfections that solid single stage paint, like we usually do.

I think Jones is trying to nail this one all perfect like too.

March 13th I will be headed up to Vail…Β  Β This is the most important thing on my list at the moment. 😎

I just blocked the hood and 2K’ed it.. it didn’t need even one spot fixed…. 😎  I’m thinking about going over the whole car one more time…Β  this metalic is not going to be as forgiving as my good old single stage solids..Β  😎  I’m not concerned so much about outer skin as much as I am the trunk and engine bay stuff… The stuff that gets the least amount of prep will show the most… and although those area’s don’t really matter a whole bunch.. untill it’s togteher… it’s all anyone will be looking at… 😎  Plus this is pretty much a show car…. so I need to prep it accordingly. 😎
