Spindles are ready to press together 👍🏻 Link pins and hardware are clean and ready to put the spindles and brakes on the front!!    I think a trans is getting dropped off today maybe👍🏻 Built all the way out to the brakes!

Looks like the full tranny set up is actually coming next weekend👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

It‘s not unreasonable for JJ to want to test drive the bus at least a couple times before the customer is watching now that he’s put together the whole bottom of the bus… that’s how it’s always been, we test it and make sure all that stuff is adjusted right and feeling good before Tom is here 😎

Also.. I’d like to throw out there that JJs back is not in the condition anymore to be up all night thrashing fixing and adjusting in the last hours… but with some parts and time and it can be done 😎😎😎

Franz was across the street all weekend, working on a bay window, gate was open, people to help unload, but no deliveries ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️    I figured 🤫🤫🤫. Probably too heavy for his Honda to carry😁😁😁😁.

All the parties involved with this project got their kick start into Volkswagens by hanging out at KCW.  👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐☹️☹️☹️😁😁😁😁😎😎😎😎😎🧐👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️

I was working towards getting this rig on the ground and a test drive,  but, without a trans I’ll be done and waiting on Cole today.. 😎😎😎😎 So I think I will change my gears and get them seats moving forward and get Douglas on em.  !!!!  👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Gonna get an apron painted and some wheels and tires mounted today as well as seats!!!

Earlier I climbed around in the seat storage area and found a donor seat for JJ to work with for your seat repairs! He made them look good as new!

I also sanded the apron so it can get sealed and painted tomorrow! I’ll take the wheels and tires to get mounted tomorrow too 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The apron got sealed this morning 👍🏻

Last of the red trim insert today on the rocker spears! That boiling water trick is AWESOME!! Waaayy less time consuming and easier on your fingers and the trim!

Took the tires and wheels to the tire shop today and got them mounted and balanced 👍🏻 I’ll tuck them under the bus tomorrow for a little preview 😍😎

Ive been kicking ass on seats..  cut out some sweet tabs for the rear seat jail bar mounts..  just like OG😎. Got the middle seat frame all dialed, and we are about to peice together a set of springs.  I’d love to have this seat program over today and paint tomorrow!!  Give to Doug Friday!!!!✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅.  That might be the Last things to paint!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JJs currently finishing up getting those rear seat jail bar mounts on the seats 👍🏻
Apron is turkis and looking good!

Did a little wheel mock up!! This is lower than the bus can go, because the tires are already touching the top of the wheel well jurt a bit 😅😅😅 whatcha think?!?
