Parts blasted before the sun was up.
New deck lid support pivot broke…Dang!
One hole in the pass door frame to weld up.
Basket of parts ready for the rack.
We will build it if it comes.
Got caught up in a parkway project today and sending Cory off to Idaho.
Still managed to get all the parts hung, epoxy sealed, and laid down 2 coats of Pale blue.
We will build it if it comes.
Hell yeah Pat!!! Lets keep this rig moving forward everyday, somehow someway, till it’s driving to washington!!!!!!
Proud and Stubborn 👍🏻
Rounded up all the fried egg bits and got them installed while waiting on paint last night.
Started with taillights this morning. Bead blasted and painted. Thinner housing for the pass side gives more room for the battery.
Walkthrough mat threshold plate was pretty roached. Fabricated a fresh one.
Dug a set of headlight buckets out of the KCW stash.
Sand blast buckets along with a few other bits. Hung and epoxy sealed.
We will build it if it comes.
Laid down a couple coats of black on all the bits that go inside the bus.
The color of the gray epoxy sealer we use is a great match to the headlight buckets OG color. Laid down a couple coats of clear on them for UV protection.
Replaced the missing ground lug on the pass taillight housing.
Tested. Let there be light.
Wiper shafts with fresh seals and the one-eyed duck installed.
Fresh air seal and cover in place also.
We will build it if it comes.
woohoo… Some steady progress!!!! Soooo much to putting a deluxe together!!!
Proud and Stubborn 👍🏻
All the freaking little parts! It’s amazing seeing them all get the treatment and put back together! This thing is going to be mint!
Safaris assembled and being installed!
Proud and Stubborn 👍🏻
Ohhhhhhhh yeeeeeeeeaaah!!!
We will build it if it comes.
