Thought I’d start s thread about tech questions. Because I have one! ha

On this bus the front driver window is glued shut somehow. Anyone dealt with anything like this? How should I go about removing it? Just scrape it out or is there something I could apply to it that would soften/remove it without messing with the paint/bus?

    Thanks

Oh no. Don’t shoot the messenger! Rusty, look past the bay. Its a 71 westy, last year before the engine change and front disc brakes added that year. My excuse is that it’s a bus for Borrowed Garage. My brother is making a photo booth bus and KB didn’t want a bunch of people climbing in and out of the 56 or 58 westy…. A bay seemed like a good way to go.

I don’t think it is hot glue… Some sort of epoxy or caulk maybe. The seal must’ve been leaking and they glued it up.

Looks like liquid nails. That stuff is tough.

Maybe some aircraft paint stripper carefully applied with tape over the paint?
