Well, that was a pretty big Cannon Ball Run over to Humboldt!!! White Lightnin is a CHAMP!!!! VRROOOOOMM!! Durango to KCW Wednesday for a quick look over and tranny fluid swap Thanks Wes!!! Then off from KCW to try to make it through Utah almost did it but got tired and crashed at a truck stop for a few hours in Delle I think it was? Then up at 5 to head through Nevada, long boring drive but thankfully not scalding hot!!!! Crossed into California about 1:30 then up north!!!! Pulled over about an hour from Humboldt county for the night, up yesterday AM and headed up to the farm!! As per Murphy’s Law, I show up, generators aren’t running right, something is chewing on plants, well pump is shorting out……….. late night last night!!!!😀Pat KModeratorJuly 25, 2020 at 9:24 amPost count: 2216

This would be a great direction (seriously) to take the Super High Roof build. Minus the Subaru power. 😉
Roomy camper that’s easy on JJ’s new back.View this post on Instagram
1961 Kombi ‘Snail’ Motorhome Build. This post shows a few pics of the upper frame and engine/gear box set up. – Rear queen bed base and the upper birth are made from steel (for strength), – The remainder of the frame was fabricated using 25x25x2mm aluminum to keep weight down. – The last pic is of the Subaru EJ25 (2.5L fuel injected) engine and reversed @subarugears 5spd gearbox! – Next we start work on the automatic slide out kitchen!

Haha! Let’s part out the mechanicals from white lightening to make Super High Roof a driver. 😁 That is a good idea if I ever heard one.
Get AAA to tow SHR to KCW so Pat and I can work some magic. Maybe Holly will let you come play with us?RustabusParticipantJuly 30, 2020 at 4:19 pmPost count: 2413
White Lightnin is staying together!!! Hell, I wanna build a backup motor and tranny for that Rig!!!! Road Warrior!!!!!
SHR with a small nut tranny and a 1600 single port! 😎😎 I’d be cruising maybe 54mph all day with the biggest smile on my face!!!!
