Looks like cables or a bracket that you can see through the gap behind the front wheel. Looks like the front is attached low on the frame and probably the cables of bracket is used to push/pull the front wheel either way via the bars input. That’s my guess anyway.

Andy the suby swap shop is getting things done. Nice work man!

    Nice work man, very clean.

plenty of pics online of the “madboxer” and some short vid on youtube of the build also.

mental, but very well done, and road legal which is not as easy down here.

Any more pics of the front mount? I need something like that for mine…

Franz I know you don’t need my dumb ideas, but not sure how that diesel subi mounts in the ultimate camper your doing. Here’s what I’ve been doing on the subi swap bays. Early and late bays, heck I made one of these for the automatic squareback too. Picture is a few weeks old.

Glad to be back on JJ. Yup, sure did. I started on my subie project awhile ago and just jumping back on it. Lost motivation for a bit.

Subie.. ing a 911… better or worse? Not sure, but I bought a shell years ago for 2k and the car isn’t worth getting an engine/trans and the other bits to bring it back to it’s original glory (complete interior.. all the way down to the door handles and calipers). I know it’s a 911, all the crap I’m doing is reverseable if somebody someday wants to do it. Thanks for getting my account straight Franz!
