Last year was epic, but I say that about every last year… 😎   Shasta gets more and more fun for me… You know… first time your a newbie and don’t know anyone, and no one knows you, and your worried about getting lost and you have heard all the horror stories about rolling busses down hills and shit….    Second years is better, third is pretty chill… after that.. just a great vacation with some awesome legit bus people!!!!

I can’t wait to go… but I am gonna be so wore out by then… Audrey may have to drive us all the way while I catch up on rest!!!!!

First stop Spencer, Second stop Sara’s.   I am growing more and more worried about my bus at the moment.. and hope I can talk the guys into handking this for me….. pray pray pray… Or… Cole… Come down and help me and head out to shasta with us?  Your not doing shit!!!!

You’re going to drive all the way to Spencer first day?? Big day! I was thinking baker first. Then Spencer. Gotta get that soak time! Haha I told you I’d come out and help put your trans in! I’ve just been waiting on the green light of when it’ll be at kcw! Haha I’m not doing shit 🧐 hahaha trying to get my shit in gear for Shasta! I want to head out probably before you… so i have more days to soak. And shorter days. Those 12 hrs driving in a bus a day I did to meet you at Spencer last year sucked haha I was hoping your trans would be back by now and I could head down and help you with it. Let me know when you know. I was thinking leaving for baker either the 28th or 29th.

Panels finished:) going to fix my rack and get some tires and chains. Oil change for good measure and I’m ready! Sorting tools and spares today. Seth said he’s getting me some elk meat again. And some tasty brownies.

I have not bought a chain saw yet… I think we should get one before we head out of town!!! Hey… You gonna fix your roof rack while your here too right??  Every bus needs a solid rack!!!!!

I REALLY appreciate you coming over to help my old ass out… 😎  I’m not saying we couldn’t get it done… but your gonna make it A LOT less stressfull for the shop this week!!!    Trans will be here monday morning… I bet we can get it pulled out tonight and cleaned up and prepped for assembly tomorrow… 😎  another crunch for Shasta!!  Seems to be this way!!!     If I remember right… Will installed the last tranny before BBB last year!!!  Lets not get in too much of a hurry and do it right and once!!!  😎

I’m very excited too… Audrey is beside herself excited..  Not that shasta is really a vacation.. but I could use a road trip!!!  😎

Sounds like we need a chainsaw. Supposedly 8 feet of snow in the sierras over the next week! Right as we come into town! Should be fun! Thanks for the heads up Sarah! Downed trees from the wet snow are a possibility!

Super jealous  up here watching and hearing about SST, I hope to be there next year with team Canada, I’m still slamming away on my Shasta bus it’s looking good, got my wheels and tires done, and a big nut all cleaned up and installed, this is a great bus to build for the trip,

I got a set of beetle wheels and chains! With the 8’ of snow I’ll need them! This is how JJ’s bus is supposed to look 4 days before we leave?? Haha old trans out and torn down! New center section supposed  to be here today 🤞🏼
