Thank you. I have to run a new clutch cable tube front to back, this one fell out. Crap
After talking with John today he told me I needed to post my projects up. So being that it has been nearly 4 years since I posted on this it is time to do so. I was building this buggy at home while John started on the mini truck. I sold it once finished to help move the shorty work along. I did the chassis metal, paint and mechanicals and a buddy from work fixed 236 various holes that had been drilled into it over the years. He killed the paint job.
love the pizza cutters! that thing looks like fun!!
It was neat. I just built it to see if I could do it. Made my own wiring harness, tore the speedo apart and painted the needle to match the car and rolled it over. It had crazy ground clearance.
That buggy is awesome 👏
what’s size tires?

Great Buggy Scott. That thing looks fun.
The tires are 29 x 8.5 15”. Interco TSL Super Swampers. I put some on my double door as well

Those are big, especially for a split! The tires on the doka are 245/75/16, so 30.5″ tall by 9.5″ wide.
The double door has fresh 1915cc in it, fresh rebuilt big nut trans with 3.88 Stock first and second gear, Type 3 tall 3rd gear and .82 4th. Welded 3rd and 4th gears, super-diff, Heavy duty side plate etc. All new brakes, powder coated black rims, new adjustable stock width beam. Front and rear safaris and a new wiring harness. I have a full length rack for it too. It’s got about one mile on everything as I have been shuffling it around way too many times. I just got it running but it is far from driving.
The goal is to drive it to 4th of July to see Audrey get hitched.
