Where’s the 25 hp and crashbox??
sitting in a box where they should be if you really want to drive it much… sure a 25 will “work” but it would suck..
Pats been playing with KB’s small ball all day….. 😎 The shifter is being a whore …8-) well get it… 😎
Luck is when preparation and opportunity meet.👊
Those small balls are a bitch hahaha I don’t know what you dealing with there but….We been adding some material to top of cup on shift rod with TIG and then profiling it down…only need like 1/8” and keeps all in there good!
Came in Saturday morning and finished up the shifter install. Total pain, but small balls need lots of love.
Parts have been stacking up for this one.
Going to finish the brake system today. Unstuck, blasted and rattle can painted some OG brake hardware. Fresh German rear drums epoxy sealed, paint when dry. Assembling front wheel cylinders now.
We will build it if it comes.
BD wheel cylinders..
Luck is when preparation and opportunity meet.👊
Some re-chromed trinkets arrived this morning.
Patient is on the table. Franz was rounding up engine tin for this yesterday.
Sorry for the delayed post. Update of last weeks progress.
I noticed link pins were missing grease seals. Pulled spindles, checked shims for correct camber, reinstalled and greased.
Front and rear brakes together. Axle boot clamps installed.
Tested and assembled horn.
Bulbs in. Semaphores and headlights in.
Front wheel bearings and drums packed, new seals in.
Starter, bowden tubes, clutch and throttle cables in and lubed.
Ebrake handle was missing the catch pawl. Harvested one from the parts stash. Franz tigged it in. We’re waiting on ebrake cables to arrive for install
We will build it if it comes.
The heart of the engine. vj4br8 55-57 bus distributor…same as a 019. We’re going for a vintage look 1914cc doghouse w/heat. Concept 1 fan shroud with velocity ring and type IV cooler.
Epoxy sealer on the housing and clamp. OG screws.
Original cylinder tins always fit the best.
Cool stuff!!!! I think the engine is all that is left on this rig!!!! And Dr. Franz has it in motion!!!! 😎
Luck is when preparation and opportunity meet.👊
I know Cole disappeared it seems but whats the progress on this one that was flying to the finish line?
Yeah speaking of this truck, I got back on the engine today. Cole is a Porsche guy or something now.
I installed a fancy fuel pump, and modified a 6volt backing plate for 12 volt. Going for vintage look.
I’m pretty much all Porch nowadays!!!
Uugh!
I know Cole disappeared it seems but whats the progress on this one that was flying to the finish line?
whats up with ol Cole???? Probably some vagina has him distracted…. The box of power has no limits… 😎 Be strong Cole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We had to finish up Tom’s shit and get it outta here… Thats what happened… 😎 Franz is going to be all over it now…. 😎
