So… Your saying it might be a different shade of grey than what we have been putting on all the 54 and later busses we have been doing???  This is what I would call light grey…. We have a day or so to nail that down… so lets keep it top our list’s!!!  😎  I’m gonna be ready to order paint by Thursday! 😎  😎

we got them gates all shrunk and beautiful! and spread the tool mark remover, blocked em out most the day…  and polied em!!!  😎  Good day!!!

I think I will block em today and final prime em..

Ok.. so am I repainting the bottom side and treasure chest or leaving as is???  That the first thing I am going to paint!!!

Sickkkk! The grey on the bottom of it now is close enough. Treasure chest should be the same. Also noticed that it needs more overspray on the jack points. They were barely blue.

Gate outsides are all blocked out and beautiful!!! working on the back side now… Prime later… 😎

L31.!!!!!!!!!!. I should have ordered a 50 gallon drum of Dove Blue years ago….. 😎 Ok Cole.. I will NOT mask the bottom when we paint the outside and make it look as over sprayed and like factory, not crispy…. as I can!!!!!!!! 😎

Back side of gates primed yesterday.. Gonna 2K the front side this morning.. and keep moving forward!!!!!!!!!

Such a nice truck…  Happy to be part of it’s resurrection!!!!!!!…

Top of gates blocked, top edge blocked, about to 2K the front sides.    I think we will start looking the shell now… I am gonna start on the bed!!! It looks original… which is incredible… I don’t want to make it look new…   But I see some holes for wood I guess, hut hot spaced right… Thinking maybe we should weld those up…   I love the factory welds on the bed… 😎  I probably shouldn’t grind them too much… 😎

We sanded and prepped the bed and rear of the cab this afternoon. In the booth now for epoxy sealer and an L31 paint session.

We have been sanding our asses off….    inside and engine bay all sealed up… Paint coming in a few and then some pics!!

I’ll have the whole thing painted before we head to salt lake in a week and a half!!!!
