Sweet! Can’t wait to see this one in person
The fuel tank cleaned out nicely. I installed it, polished the fuel cap, and attached the petcock. Ready to fuel-up tomorrow.
Shift coupler cover courtesy of Mark Raferty/The Bus Transfer. Original canvas type seal was in a a bag from the original disassembly.
Sliding glass butterfly latches missing springs and one base plate…I have a spare in my parts I will donate.
Coming together very nicely! Cool to see the petcock under the bus like that!
Love to see parts from the stashes put busses back on the road, this bus is fantastic I love the Petcock, I never seen one like that
I’m excited to drive and see this rig alive again!!!!
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
Good day.
That’s tasty! Nice work boys 👍🏼
Door panels installed with retromat sound and heat insulation behind.
I’m not sure why the kicks and door panels are different colors. Maybe a different batch?? I have some matching paint to slather on today.
Love all the little unobtanium parts on this thing
So badass!!
Prepped the panels for paint along with a new pedal pan and some og hubcaps. Going in the booth this morning.
The hubcaps should be chrome
Whoops. I knew that. Barndoor commercial is chrome.
Can we verify on some of the original VW canada pictures of this truck?
Cab done! The repainted kick panels match better. I took some time and tried to put the screws in the original holes.
Here are the nicest original hubcaps in our collection. I’ll pick the best 4, clean them up, and tap out dents. Hopefully they won’t need any chrome plating.
