Running into roadblocks on everything I touch. I had to order a bunch of parts.

    Wiper grommets from Belgium

    headlight dimmer switch from Michigan

    7mm fuel petcock from Denver

Lever shocks from Johnny Main in Canada…. He’s sending them to Apple Hydraulics to get rebuilt for us. Not really a hold-up as we can install them anytime.

    Bumper going on today.

I assembled the 52 and earlier steering column…Its a beetle unit on these piano hinge barndoors…soo cool.

7mm petcock arrived yesterday. I’m going to sandblast the gas tank and get it ready for paint today.

Then I’m going to switch gears and work on putting the race car back together.

No rear bumper on early barndoors…so you get full view of the a1 sidewinder. I also located 4 original 14mm head apron bolts.
