Yup that seat was a pain in the ass!!
Though I was done with fab on Thursday but had to make up a few tabs on Friday.
Threaded in support wires the rest of Friday.
Got back at it yesterday and finished tying all the support wires together. Ready for epoxy sealer.
We will build it if it comes.JbParticipantDecember 9, 2019 at 2:11 pmPost count: 544

I was hoping for some regular ol shocks… So when Cole goes big in this truck… it’s ready.. 😎FranzKeymasterDecember 10, 2019 at 9:05 amPost count: 2976
Running into roadblocks on everything I touch. I had to order a bunch of parts.
Wiper grommets from Belgium
headlight dimmer switch from Michigan
7mm fuel petcock from Denver
Lever shocks from Johnny Main in Canada…. He’s sending them to Apple Hydraulics to get rebuilt for us. Not really a hold-up as we can install them anytime.
Bumper going on today.
I assembled the 52 and earlier steering column…Its a beetle unit on these piano hinge barndoors…soo cool.John JonesKeymasterDecember 10, 2019 at 11:42 amPost count: 5878

That underside shot 🥵. This truck is SMOOTH 😉FranzKeymasterDecember 17, 2019 at 8:42 amPost count: 2976
7mm petcock arrived yesterday. I’m going to sandblast the gas tank and get it ready for paint today.
Then I’m going to switch gears and work on putting the race car back together.
No rear bumper on early barndoors…so you get full view of the a1 sidewinder. I also located 4 original 14mm head apron bolts.
