I,m nearly complete building my rotisserie based on the video you guys have posted. The only dimension you left out was on the rear support bar, in the video, he said the rear support bar is 42 in, but didn’t mention the hole spacing like he did on the front support bar.

Could you shoot me that dimension? I would greatly appreciate the help.

    Thanks,

    Ron

It goes from body mount to body mount in the rear…  Just get out a tape and measure it.. Or… Maybe your body isn’t off yet?

Exactly, I was hoping to minimize the number of times to lift the body off.

The car is a 66 Beetle convertible, but I’ve put a 62 Beetle body on a 71 pan before with no problems, so I don’t think there’s any difference on the Beetle pan.

42″ wide for the rear bar that goes from body mount hole to body mount hole.

Well, that sucks. The video on their website says the overall length of the rear support is 42 in., but did not specify the hole spacing. If you measured from hole to hole, then my already cut piece is going to be too short.

The bolt spacing center to center on those rear most 10mm body bolts is 40″ on the nut.  Gives you extra hanging off…. 😉
