Spot the difference… high quality chrome Porsche caps to fit ssp and flat4 Fuchs now available. Please message for prices. The badge is a separate emblem that’s set into the chrome cap not painted on, which makes them arrow straight and perfect. The caps are secured onto the wheel via 3 grub screws on the rear which also makes them antitheft.

I’ve been thinking about your carbs today. I think we should go with 36 dells. You probably want originals eh? We need to locate some. The set I though we had are spoken for.
Also on the oil cooler. I am not 100%, but I think the aluminum porsche type will fit.

Carbs – agreed on the 36 Dell’s; I think (hope) they’ll be easier to set up and tune to this motor over the Solex P11-40’s, and probably easier to maintain over the long term. What are the options besides originals…are new 36’s available?
I’ll look into the coolers and if that one works I’ll get it on the way.
Linkage/shroud – if we were going the Solex route then I’d definitely want the Porsche shroud, but with the Dell’s let’s see if the weld-on Okrasa style linkage I sent is usable. You may as well keep the Solexes and shroud/linkage together for a larger displacement vintage speed motor….like for Tom’s vert maybe?FranzKeymasterApril 16, 2018 at 4:00 pmPost count: 1723

I don’t doubt that the EMPI’s are great functioning carbs, but I’ve sourced other NOS stuff for this build so I’m not sure I should punt and go with new repop on the carbs. Quick searches for 36 DRLA’s….let me know if anything looks attractive, or I can keep looking:
