I drove this to work today. Seems to be from two spots – between the crank and flywheel, through dowel pin, and possible from one of the galley plugs. Put in a new crank/flywheel gasket and lightly coated both sides of it with Loctite 515 Flange Sealant, also put some around the base of the dowel pins on the crank end. Installed FW, tightened down, then removed gland nut and put RTV on each dowel end, then reinstalled gland nut and torqued to spec. For galley plug installed new one and coated it with Loctite 640 high-strength sleeve retainer.
The second engine pull was because I tried the Kennedy Engineered 180mm race clutch….and that didn’t seem to work well at all, so back out and went with the ol’ Sachs.

A while back I replaced my brake light switch with a new Hella unit. It’s worked well but lately has been sporadic. Tired of relying on hydraulic pressure to activate brake lights.
I ordered this switch at the link below and I installed yesterday….it’s freaking awesome. Once the pedal is pushed off of the switch lever the lights are activated…takes maybe a 1/2″ of pedal movement. All bolt on, don’t need to do anything with existing switch wiring.
