Cleaned and lubed all the cables/tubes yesterday. They usually have old grease and sand slurry in them that makes for crunchy operation. These will glide nice and smooth. I wish it were as easy to fix nerves in the human body.
All new cables and linkages. Not a bunch of half-life stuff.
Peet tackled pedal assembly and some engine stuff.
That shit matters!!!! Taking the time to clean out the tubes and get nice greased cables in makes a Bus drive soooooo smooth!!!! ๐ ๐ ๐
Guys are killing this thing…ย ๐ย About time to feed them some more painted parts…ย ๐ย Your parts table is getting cleared off!!!! ๐
Been a wild ride, but it got me here ๐
Hooking stuff up. Steering, clutch, e-brake, gear oil, carb rebuild/re-jet, battery/cables, new clutch, new bosch coil, new fuel pump, new bus muffler, fan belt, etc.
I think we are green light for a mechanical test drive today.

Such a cool build! I am alsoย excited to see the sucker up and running.
