Check out the date and old address on this WW invoice. 23 year ago. Before WW was a major parts supplier. Wild Bill has been working on this truck for a while.

I can’t look at this truck and not smile. Unless you’ve done it before, it’s hard to describe how good it is watching this truck come together. Y’all ROCK!!!

I washed the rattle can paint off of the steering box and painted it up proper with some single stage urethane.

We need wheels to drive. I painted them just now. They look great.

We’ve had a few chances to get good at this.

    Tires getting mounted today.

New hoses, lines, shoes, springs, cylinders. This machine may be a 1960 but its really a 2018.

Lift mates? Do you want the nose emblem yellow like beatrice?

New Bosch starter with 2 year warranty.
    DSC00493

Fully painted shift rod with new hardware and boots.
    DSC00495

New German single circuit master/res/switch. I like to keep the originally spec’d parts on stock builds. All new lines/hoses ensure there is not a weak rusty one waiting to pop.
    DSC00496

New t/o bearing. The good one. should last.

When JJ starts body work it usually means its time to dig out all the mechanical parts to blast and paint. It nice having all those parts ready and waiting
