Made some progress over the weekend.
Audrey caught me fitting the front end around the shock towers.
Added a lower beam adjusted bash guard.
Also mocked up a front skid plate and burned in the mount tabs.
We will build it if it comes.VwfoolParticipantOctober 24, 2022 at 12:23 pmPost count: 817

Progress is progress!!! Weekly progress leads to finished projects… 😎 😎
Yeah that bottom adjuster is vulnerable… 😎Pat KParticipantOctober 30, 2022 at 5:13 amPost count: 2933
Plugging along. Knocked out limiting strap mounts for the front & rear yesterday.
Just had to figure out where to sneak the front one in. No additional fab required, yeah!
Bent up a bracket for the rears to weld to.
We will build it if it comes.John JonesModeratorOctober 30, 2022 at 7:15 amPost count: 12232

The dirty shop was full of good vibes yesterday… 😎 😎Pat KParticipantNovember 8, 2022 at 5:45 amPost count: 2933
Progress from the weekend. Gas tank hold down straps finished.
Was going to hide the batteries under the seats.
Decided each side of the gas tank would be a bit better access. Progress!
We will build it if it comes.alykatParticipantNovember 8, 2022 at 6:09 amPost count: 917

Looks so awesome! I love to see the contrast of all your super nice work with the cracked old studded tires on hahaPat KParticipantNovember 21, 2022 at 5:22 amPost count: 2933
Played with my racecar all weekend.
Fabed a pass grab handle for the passenger to grab.
Lots of tabs for rear skid plate and mini-skids for the pushrod tube protection.
Started on some templates for front end paneling.
Some fancy parts for the intake arrived.
We will build it if it comes.alykatParticipantNovember 21, 2022 at 6:01 amPost count: 917
