Finally getting to Sidehill’s 73 parkway job. It kind of hard to work on with all the extra stuff on the engine. Pat is taking everything apart this morning. Plan is to clean up and re-route stuff. New fuel hose. And smaller venturis in the carburetors.
We found loose upper shock bolts as the cause of the suspension knocking noise.
The car has 27mm torsion bars which are kind of large for this application. Stephen mentioned raising the suspension a little. Sooo, we’ll have to decide if we want to rip into all of that….but I think we should focus on getting the engine sorted and reinstalled first.
