I haven’t been letting Franz soak up all this late model glory.

I pulled the old and drug in the new harness. Did the basic wiring at the corners. Pulled motor, power washed it and the greasy ass engine bay. New tar boards going in. New clutch on, motor back in.

Were going to test and trouble shoot any issues with wiring and get this one out the door. 

 

We will build it if it comes.

Rusty,

I looked over your entire braking system. Could not find any leaks. Adjusted and bleed everything. Still was not great. I felt like we were loosing pressure in the master cylinder so I replace it.That made a bit of a difference but not to where it should be.

We need to order new wheel cylinders and soft lines for all four corners.  Cool???

You had two regulators wired in the system so your alternator light was never going out. Car is wired for one under the seat, so I left that one wired and disconnected the other one, now you have a back up riding with you.

Straightened out your electrical. All lights and signals work.  Windshield wiper linkage was missing a bushing and c-clip and wired incorrectly. Wipers now “work” but need to have the wiper shafts replaced to work good.

I have 7 hrs of lovin’ on Slimer currently. 

We will build it if it comes.

Awesome Pat!!!!!! Yeah, keep digging into those brakes something isn’t right…….that was  a new master cylinder and I notice when I brake softly sometimes the brakes seem like they are engaging but then the pedal drops down quickly another inch or so before engaging again???? Happy to have more time spent on this Rig, hoping it will be my Winter driver as well as Off-roader!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 THANKS!!!!!

Brake parts come in for my Booger Baja?!?!! Heading home from Cali tomorrow!!!! 🙂 My camper is good, Single is good, Baja is getting dialed….. might have to go all fancy and drag an unloved Porch over there next!!!!! 🙂

Installed one of the brand new new empi/china steering box in Galina’s car today. $65 Vs $150 for the TRW. So far, it seems like its good….a little tight on the bearing/column adjustment though.
