In general dirty and leaking. Nice collection of numbers matching parts. It seemed to run and drive decent. The plan is for a full tear-down and reseal, sand blast and paint components as needed.ColeBModeratorDecember 18, 2018 at 2:43 pmPost count: 1765
Crazy how well they fit all that junk on type 3 motors in such a small spaceJohn JonesKeymasterDecember 19, 2018 at 7:51 amPost count: 6941

Chris has Bairds tranny and long block ready to go to painters grinding.. the best machine shop in the industry! Thanks for always taking care of us!!! I wish I could get one of those yahoo’s to sign up and post up from time to time… I doubt there is any other shop that buys more engine’s from painters than KCW!!!!!!!!!!!!Pat KKeymasterDecember 20, 2018 at 9:45 amPost count: 1478
Chris is working on Baird’s parts this morning. Fresh from the blast booth.
Shanti and JJ are killing it on Shanti’s window rebuild.
Looks like his headlights are getting some love also.
We will build it if it comes.volksaddictParticipantDecember 20, 2018 at 1:17 pmPost count: 640
How the fuk do you guys get those thick WW vent wing glass seals in? I made a press and still couldn’t get the wings in all the way. Inner tube rubber seems to fit better.John JonesKeymasterDecember 20, 2018 at 4:04 pmPost count: 6941
Lucky I guess…. 😎 silicone spray and I can push it almost all the way in myself.. But use an irwin clamp to really press it together..lowlifechrisParticipantDecember 28, 2018 at 7:01 amPost count: 62

Red 67 ski bus ready to go.
Has anybody seen cracked steering box mount? It was missing the lower bolt causing flex on the side of the frame. It had a strange feeling driving…
I cleaned and welded it nice. Though a frame section replacement would be better, it would also be much more time/money…I feel confident in the repair, but will advise the customer of the situation.BBWBParticipantDecember 28, 2018 at 7:55 pmPost count: 861
I did a frame repair much like that on my neighbors corvette frame three years ago. Still holding up fine. I’m sure this will be to.
